Full Job Description
Job Summary:
This role owns the commercial case for PayPal+, PayPal's consumer loyalty program and one of the company's fastest-growing strategic initiatives. The Sr Manager will own the program P&L, set the funding budget and the gates each market must clear to launch or scale, and define what commercial success means for the program. The role also owns the enterprise case - how PayPal+ lifts branded checkout, P2P, debit, and credit - and works with Finance and the leaders of those businesses. Success is measured in the program's contribution and in its ability to drive attachment of first-party products.

  • Design and define the portfolio strategy for an identified country, supporting the execution of local product priorities, and analyzing and interpreting product performance.
  • Implement hands-on execution coordination of local and global cross functional initiatives.
  • Manage process escalations to remove obstacles for the strategy execution while proposing and supporting change implementation to strategy
  • Collaborate and define priorities based on global commercial product strategy
  • Research new opportunities and establish and negotiate new partnerships
  • Engage with ongoing partners regularly, improving relationships and operational efficiencies
  • Direct, set, and define customized market/regional specific product and technology strategies
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and oversee the delivery of key product and platform infrastructures
  • Set strategic direction and roadmap to enhance product experience and business metrics

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience owning a P&L or the program economics for a consumer product, subscription, or loyalty program.
  • Background in fintech, payments, e-commerce, or consumer financial services.
  • Track record building and defending business cases that unlock funding, including go/no-go gates and staged investment decisions.
  • Experience making a cross-business value case - quantifying how one product drives adoption or margin in another - and negotiating it with the leaders who own those businesses.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including unit economics, cohort-level contribution, and sensitivity analysis on uncertain inputs.
  • Able to work with Finance as both partner and challenger, and to hold a position when modeling assumptions are contested.
  • Experience with pricing or fee strategy for a consumer program.
