Sr Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning
Job Summary
The Sr Manager, Global Supply Chain Planning leads end-to-end planning activities across multiple product lines within the Aramids business, ensuring alignment between customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory, and financial objectives. This role is responsible for driving supply chain performance, operational excellence, and strategic planning while leading a team of planning managers, scheduling professionals and inventory planners. The position partners closely with commercial, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and finance teams to support business growth, improve service levels, optimize inventory, and enhance supply chain resilience.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead global, supply, inventory, and production planning processes for multiple complex product lines.
• Own supply-demand balancing activities to achieve service, inventory, cost, and profitability targets.
• Drive Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and strategic planning processes to align business objectives with operational capabilities.
• Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory turns, working capital, and capacity utilization.
• Identify and implement process improvements, standard work practices, and digital solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to resolve supply chain challenges and support strategic decision-making.
• Lead global and regional initiatives that enhance supply chain performance and business results.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations, company policies, and supply chain governance requirements.
• Build, develop, and coach a high-performing planning organization, including performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
• Serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective collaboration and execution.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain, operations, or manufacturing experience.
• Significant leadership experience managing teams in a complex global business environment.
• Experience with S&OP, supply chain planning, inventory management, and ERP systems
• Experience with ERP implementations a plus
