The Team
The Global Identity Enablement Operations (GIEO) team within Identity and Access Management Operations (IAMO) is responsible for the security posture, and continuous improvement of enterprise identity services. This includes operational oversight and technical subject matter expertise for Microsoft Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID, identity risk and vulnerability remediation, support for identity governance standards and adoption, and partnership with internal stakeholders to meet audit and regulatory requirements.

The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Identity Lifecycle Management, the Sr. Manager is a technical people leader responsible for leading the Global Identity Enablement Operations team that drives remediation of Active Directory identity vulnerabilities, provides subject matter expertise for Active Directory on-prem, Entra ID in support of identity audits and regulatory engagements, and strengthens operational controls for enterprise identities. This role partners closely with Identity Governance to align guides and processes that drive enterprise adoption and standardization, while continuously improving operational tasks through automation and process enhancements across Entra ID and AD identity services.
The Sr. Manager, Global Identity Enablement Operations will partner and collaborate with the Sr. Manager, Identity Lifecycle Management (ILM) to align on shared process improvements and synchronize the transition of identity engagements from project delivery into Business-as-Usual (BAU) operational tasks.
This partnership ensures operating procedures, handoffs, and controls are consistently implemented, enabling scalable, standardized identity operations across the Enterprise.

In detail, the Sr. Manager, Global Identity Enablement Operations will:
• Champion a customer-focused culture and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge
• Lead remediation of AD identity vulnerabilities and control gaps, including triage, risk classification, tracking, and reporting
• Provide technical leadership to ensure AD and Entra identity security controls are effective across the Enterprise
• Address identity risks within the Bank's risk appetite through governance, operational controls, and timely remediation
• Serve as an AD and Entra SME for audit and regulatory engagements, including walkthroughs, evidence gathering, response coordination, and remediation
• Partner with Identity Governance to align standards, guides, and procedures for consistent enterprise adoption
• Partner with the Sr. Manager, ILM to improve cross-team processes and align project-to-BAU transitions
• Provide guidance on identity lifecycle processes, privileged access, and urgent access scenarios for AD and Entra-integrated platforms
• Improve processes and tasks through automation to reduce manual effort, improve quality, and increase SLA attainment
• Enhance Entra ID and AD operations through documentation, runbooks, monitoring alignment, and control testing
• Develop and execute remediation plans for AD and Entra audit, regulatory, and risk findings
• Prioritize, track, and report on vulnerability remediation, operational issues, and escalations through established governance and metrics
• Provide after-hours support for urgent identity incidents, vulnerability escalations, and critical operational issues
• Coordinate with ILM Ops, engineering, and platform teams to resolve root causes and implement preventative controls
• Escalate high-priority issues affecting availability, security posture, customer impact, or regulatory risk with clear recommendations
• Identify recurring AD and Entra issues and lead continuous improvement with cross-functional partners
• Apply the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture to day-to-day identity operations and prioritization
• Provide audit evidence and operational reporting as required for requests and engagements
• Champion a high-performance, inclusive work environment
• Complete additional tasks as assigned

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• Minimum 5 years of people management and leadership experience
• Minimum 10 years of IAM operations experience, including hands-on expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Ability to lead complex technical work, translate risk into operational outcomes, and make sound decisions under pressure
• Experience supporting technical audit and regulatory reviews, including evidence preparation, control narratives, and remediation tracking
• Experience with identity security controls, vulnerability management, and remediation in enterprise environments
• Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Windows OS, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience using AI and agentic AI to drive automation and operational efficiency in IAM environments
• Experience with ServiceNow, including reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics
• Experience supporting IGA processes and driving adoption of standards
• Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle, privileged access, and operational control design
• Strong knowledge of information security policies, standards, and identity-related access requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain identity risk to non-technical audiences
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams in operations, engineering, governance, and risk and compliance
• Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external colleagues
• Strong analytical skills to interpret identity telemetry, vulnerability findings, and operational data
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple intake channels and balance delivery with remediation commitments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is an asset
• Technical and security certifications such as Microsoft (Azure/Entra), MCSE/MCSA or equivalent, CISM, CISSP, or GIAC are assets
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience, including Microsoft Graph and REST APIs, is an asset
