Full Job Description
Position Purpose:

The Senior Manager of Gift Card Sales is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive significant growth across both first- and third-party sales channels. In addition to identifying new market opportunities and building strong relationships with key internal and external partners, this role owns critical links of the gift card value chain, including card production, aggregators, and distribution. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and successfully managing complex partner ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • 20% Manages Gift Card Sales relationships.
  • 20% Develops strategic initiatives and develops products that leverage opportunities both in the short term (2-6 months) and long term (6+ months) to drive Gift Card Sales & THD profits.
  • 15% Works closely with Gift Card Sales, Marketing, and Ops Managers to identify needs, competitive trends, industry direction, and B2B needs.
  • 10% Develops Business Case and Implementation plans for new initiatives. Presents to Sr. Leadership and gains consensus for proposed initiatives.
  • 25% Manages cross-functional teams to ensure flawless delivery of new initiatives/products on time, and within budget. Incorporates feedback and input from team members and cross functional groups to ensure product viability for long term success.
  • 10% Negotiates contracts with providers and business partners.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
  • Position reports to: Director, Financial Services and Payments
  • Number of direct reports: 2, with a total team of 4


Travel Requirements:
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:
  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in B2B sales or partner management, particularly with experience in the gift card, payments, or retail industries.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a value chain or complex partner ecosystem (excluding payment processing).
  • Experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with sales forecasting and pipeline management.

  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
