Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The
Digital Strategy function is at the center of establishing and executing on technology strategy. This primary mandate of this function includes leading development and execution of strategy within
Personal Banking & Digital Technology (PB&DT). The role will oversee digital strategy, driving strategic initiatives across PB&DT, and provide support & thought leadership to the development of digital strategy for PB&DT groups.
As the primary
Digital Strategist, you will be part of the PB&DT Operating Office organization and managing the development and execution of strategy in Personal Banking & Digital Technology in RBC. You will be working with both technology and business senior executives and senior leaders in defining and driving new strategic vision, addressing strategic challenges, and leading strategic initiatives for PB&DT.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?- Drive various strategic initiatives, including developing digital strategy, plans, scope, approach, roadmaps for PB&DT
- Collaborate cross horizontally with various senior executives and leaders to provide subject matter expertise, thought leadership and act as a strategic advisor
- Develop executive level materials for senior executives & C-suite
- Partner with various senior leaders across enterprise to drive strategic initiatives across Personal Banking & Digital Technology
- Lead different executive meetings on a frequent basis to key strategic topics and initiatives
- Drive thought leadership and benchmarking in various technology landscapes and trends
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have- 5+ years of work experience in Strategy with a top-tier consulting firm.
- 5+ years of experience in Technology and Financial Services / Banking.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering, or technology related fields
- MBA or other comparable and professional degrees.
- Strong business acumen, with demonstrated aptitude for strategic, analytical, and critical thinking.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, influencing, and relationship building skills.
- Experience in working with senior executive level stakeholders to lead discussions and meetings.
