The Senior Manager of Corporate Development plays a critical role in executing Armanino’s M&A strategy, supporting transaction evaluation, diligence, and deal execution from initial pipeline review through advanced‑stage integration readiness. This role combines deep financial analysis, cross‑functional collaboration, and people leadership, while serving as a key thought partner to business unit leaders and executive stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare investment memos, executive presentations, and board‑level materials, clearly articulating deal rationale, financial impact, synergies, and risks to support senior‑level decision‑making with concise, data‑driven insights.
Lead and develop a team of two, managing, coaching, and reviewing deliverables while establishing consistent diligence standards, financial models, and analytical frameworks; contribute to the ongoing evolution of corporate development processes, tools, and best practices.
Build, review, and interpret complex financial models, including DCF, synergy, and scenario analyses, to evaluate transaction economics, historical performance, and forward‑looking projections.
Analyze key financial and operating metrics, comparing target performance to internal benchmarks, return thresholds, and strategic objectives to inform valuation, deal structure, and capital deployment decisions.
Lead management interviews with target company leadership to develop a deep understanding of the business, operating model, growth drivers, and potential revenue and cost synergies.
Coordinate cross‑functional due diligence efforts across finance, legal, HR, IT, operations, and compliance, identifying cultural, operational, and execution risks that may impact post‑close performance.
Ensure diligence insights are effectively translated into integration priorities and operating plans, supporting a smooth transition from deal execution into post‑close integration and value realization.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate development, M&A, transaction advisory, investment banking, or a related role.
Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including EBITDA analysis and forecasting.
Experience participating in or leading transaction diligence and management interviews.
Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, executive‑ready insights.
Proven ability to manage and develop junior team members.
Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with experience working directly with senior leaders.
Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $170,200 - $200,000. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $187,200 - $210,000. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $195,700 - $215,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
