Full Job Description
Position Purpose:

The Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs will be responsible for leading content strategy, execution and campaign management across Stoke's corporate digital and social media platforms and channels. The Senior Manager will also support the Corporate Affairs team on a variety of communications activities such as press release development. This position will report to the Senior Director, Product Communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media
  • Lead Stoke's corporate social media strategy and execution, driving brand awareness and engagement across channels; ensure all content meets compliance standards and requirements
  • Implement social media governance policies and infrastructure enterprise-wide and manage the Medical, Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory approval processes
  • Assess and implement social media listening and management tools, building on ongoing work within the Corporate Communications team
  • Manage all social media channels including content development, oversight and evaluation of performance; recommend ongoing improvements based on metrics; manage external agency partners and budgets; and provide strategic direction
  • Evaluate and lead paid social media initiatives across platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement and website traffic
  • Continuously evaluate and implement creative new social media engagement ideas and strategies to maximize Stoke visibility and drive disease awareness
  • Establish policies for, and support, the creation of new social media channels and content; ensure alignment with corporate strategy and messaging
  • Support development of executive LinkedIn thought leadership strategy and implementation, in collaboration with Director of Corporate Communications
  • Assess performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Digital
  • Support refresh of Stoke brand/visual identity and corporate website
  • Execute updates to website content; ensure website content remains current
  • Identify opportunities for proactive digital storytelling and develop associated content
  • Maintain and update digital corporate assets

Communications
  • Draft company press releases; manage internal review process and distribution
  • Serve as a member of the Corporate Affairs function, supporting a variety of team communications activities

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in communications or a related field; experience within publicly traded biotech or pharmaceutical companies strongly preferred
  • Proven experience developing and managing social media platforms and campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to build brand and reputation strategies, positioning, and communications plans across social and digital channels
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with a particular focus on creating engaging and relevant content for digital and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with product and/or corporate communications, including necessary review processes
  • Superb project management skills and ability to execute multiple priorities on tight timelines
  • Experience with digital and social media content management tools and platforms
  • Design/creative experience preferred
  • "Systems thinker" - ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional partners and connect the dots across multiple aspects of the business to identify storytelling opportunities
  • Highly self-motivated, coachable, and collaborative with a team-oriented mindset

Location(s):

Stoke is located in Bedford, MA, and will be moving to a new location in Waltham, MA by the end of 2026. This position is currently based in Bedford and will later be based in Waltham.

Travel:

This position will require approximately 10% travel.

At Stoke Therapeutics, we are committed to offering a comprehensive, competitive and thoughtfully designed total rewards program.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $162,000 - $212,000. The final offer will be determined based on a variety of factors, including role scope, experience and qualifications, education, market benchmarks, internal equity, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, Stoke offers an annual bonus and equity participation.
