Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end consumer research across qualitative and quantitative methods, from problem definition to insight delivery.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and customer-facing teams to identify key business questions and shape research agendas.
  • Translate complex data and research findings into clear, compelling stories that influence decision-making.
  • Design and execute studies such as brand tracking, creative testing, audience segmentation, and industry thought leadership.
  • Synthesize multiple data sources into cohesive insights.
  • Advocate for the voice of the consumer in strategic planning and day-to-day decisions.
  • Build scalable research frameworks and best practices that improve how insights are generated and used across the company.

Full Job Description
This role focuses on building a deep understanding of consumers and translating that into insights that shape marketing, product, and creative decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define the right questions, design research, and turn findings into clear narratives that drive action. Your work will directly influence how Smartly and our customers connect with audiences.
What You Will Do

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus an annual performance bonus. We take into consideration an individual's background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary. In addition to annual salary, Smartly's total rewards provide employees with stock options, medical/dental/vision insurances, retirement savings benefits, parental leave, 5 weeks vacation, unlimited sick days, life insurance, and disability benefits. This information is provided in accordance with applicable law. Base pay information is based on market location.

Salary Range (USD): $150,000 - $175,000
