Carrier, a global leader in HVAC solutions, is seeking an Aftermarket Procurement Leader to drive strategic sourcing initiatives for our thriving HVAC aftermarket business. This role will manage a team of 3 associates, ensuring the procurement function supports and accelerates double-digit growth in aftermarket sales. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with deep sourcing expertise, strong team management skills, and a passion for developing strategic playbook.
Role Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive aftermarket sourcing strategies aligned with Carrier's growth objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage team of 3 procurement professionals to achieve high performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, product management and finance to identify sourcing opportunities and address supply chain challenges.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost competitiveness.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and risk factors to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
• Implement and monitor procurement KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Support new product introductions and aftermarket service offerings through agile sourcing and supplier engagement.
• Drive process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and value engineering projects across the aftermarket supply base.
• Ensure compliance with Carrier's policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of procurement or sourcing experience in the HVAC or industrial aftermarket sector.
• 5+ years' experience proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
• 5+ years with strong negotiation, analytical, and project management experience
• 5+ years' experience with procurement methodologies should costing, RFQs and contracts.
Preferred Requirements:
• Master's degree
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
