The Senior Manager, Transaction Level Authorization (TLA) is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and optimization of transaction-level authorization strategies for Credit Card and Unsecured Lending portfolios. The role balances risk and reward by leveraging TSYS-TRIAD decisioning capabilities to manage overlimit, delinquent, and cash authorization requests while supporting portfolio growth and profitability objectives. The TLA strategy evaluates transaction-level risk against customer profiles and the Bank's risk appetite.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Own and enhance TLA strategies across Credit Cards and ULOC, including authorization limits, decline logic, exclusions, and customer segmentation.
  • Develop and implement risk-based decision strategies within TSYS-TRIAD to optimize customer experience, profitability, and portfolio performance.
  • Lead strategy development through data analysis, business case preparation, testing, implementation, and post-launch monitoring.
  • Monitor approval rates, losses, delinquency performance, and risk-adjusted profitability to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare and present recommendations, performance results, and strategy changes to senior leadership and governance committees.
  • Partner with Product, Technology, Analytics, Model Validation, Collections, and Operations teams to deliver strategic initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Ensure all strategies comply with internal policies, risk appetite, governance requirements, and regulatory expectations.

  • Strong blend of risk management, analytics, and business strategy expertise.
