Position DescriptionAngayut, LLC is seeking a Senior Management Analyst to lead communications, reporting, and organizational support for the PBGC Procurement Department. This key-personnel position will transform procurement, workload, forecast, performance, and special-project data into accurate reports, briefings, executive summaries, metrics, and decision-support products.
The Senior Management Analyst will coordinate recurring and ad hoc reporting, support Procurement Department communications and business activities, and help document and improve acquisition processes, procedures, instructions, repositories, and standard operating procedures. The successful candidate will combine acquisition knowledge with strong quantitative, qualitative, writing, presentation, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Task 4 communications, reporting, and organizational-support activities for the PBGC Procurement Department.
- Collect, validate, track, maintain, analyze, and update acquisition, workload, forecast, performance, and organizational data.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, briefing charts, technical and status reports, executive summaries, inquiry responses, and informational materials.
- Develop high-level acquisition briefings based on identified issues and present procurement metrics, forecast data, risks, trends, special projects, and operational activities.
- Apply qualitative and quantitative analytical methods to assess and improve reporting initiatives, data quality, performance measures, and management visibility.
- Attend meetings, briefings, and business activities; capture decisions and action items; coordinate follow-up; and maintain accurate records and repositories.
- Draft, map, document, and maintain acquisition processes, procedures, instructions, workflow aids, and standard operating procedures unique to PBGC's Procurement Department.
- Support process-improvement and streamlining initiatives and coordinate with acquisition, policy, program, finance, legal, systems, and leadership stakeholders.
- Ensure reports, briefings, communications, and electronic documents comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
- Support surge reporting and communications requirements resulting from end-of-fiscal-year activities, leadership priorities, protests, executive orders, or other urgent needs.
- Maintain appropriate contractor identification and non-inherently governmental boundaries in all communications and work products.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, management, communications, data analytics, acquisition management, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
- Experience: At least eight years of federal management analysis, acquisition reporting, program analysis, communications, organizational support, or related experience, including senior-level responsibility for executive deliverables.
- Working knowledge of federal acquisition concepts, methods, lifecycle activities, terminology, and reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated experience developing executive briefings, dashboards, metrics, forecasts, status reports, technical reports, process maps, SOPs, and inquiry responses.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and experience collecting, validating, interpreting, and presenting data to senior leaders.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and experience using SharePoint, Access, reporting tools, or comparable data and collaboration platforms.
- Experience producing Section 508-compliant reports, presentations, and electronic documents preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication, organization, recordkeeping, customer-service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a demanding and evolving environment, rapidly implement Government direction, and maintain professional and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Adobe tools; and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
- Knowledge of contractor support boundaries and the ability to avoid performing or appearing to perform inherently governmental functions.
- Ability to work during PBGC core business hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and provide approved surge support when required.
TravelNo travel is currently anticipated. Occasional travel may be required if authorized by the Government and the company.
Eligibility RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain a favorable PBGC suitability determination, including the required Moderate Risk Background Investigation or qualifying prior investigation, and a Personal Identity Verification credential.
Employment is contingent upon contract award, Government approval where applicable, successful completion of company pre-employment requirements, and availability at the start of performance.
