Job Overview:

The Senior Logistics Analyst supports logistics operations, warehouse activities, government property accountability, regional fleet management, and supply chain analytics in support of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) sustainment operations. This role is responsible for analyzing logistics transactions, monitoring inventory and fleet activities, supporting compliance within government property systems, and identifying operational improvements that enhance readiness, accountability, and responsiveness across geographically dispersed sites.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Logistics Operations & Transaction Analysis
  • Analyze daily logistics transactions including receipts, transfers, issues, turn-ins, shipments, and inventory adjustments
  • Monitor warehouse operations and material movement activities for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
  • Identify trends, discrepancies, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities within supply chain and warehouse workflows
  • Support logistics reporting and metrics development including inventory accuracy, shipping timelines, procurement lead times, and warehouse performance indicators
  • Assist with material forecasting and demand analysis to support operational readiness and sustainment objectives
  • Track and analyze backorders, procurement delays, and material shortages impacting device readiness

Warehouse & Inventory Management
  • Support warehouse inventory control processes including cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and inventory validations
  • Assist with inventory optimization initiatives including stock level monitoring, reorder analysis, and excess material identification
  • Coordinate material transfers between regional sites, warehouses, and repair depots
  • Support shipping and receiving activities including documentation validation and tracking of inbound/outbound assets and materials
  • Assist with management of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and contractor-acquired property records

Fleet Management
  • Coordinate and monitor fleet operations supporting field logistics and maintenance activities
  • Track vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, registrations, inspections, and lease status
  • Assist with GSA fleet coordination including short-term rentals, long-term lease tracking, utilization reporting, and vehicle allocation analysis
  • Support fleet replacement planning and operational readiness assessments
  • Coordinate with field personnel, GSA representatives, and program leadership regarding fleet requirements and availability

Systems, Reporting & Analytic
  • Utilize logistics and maintenance systems to analyze operational data and generate reports
  • Coordinate with the Maximo Administration Team to develop dashboards, reports, and data summaries supporting operational and leadership decision-making
  • Support KPI development related to logistics responsiveness, inventory health, fleet readiness, and warehouse efficiency
  • Assist with data validation and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and maintenance operations
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with maintenance, procurement, warehouse, transportation, and program management teams

Additional Recommended Responsibilities
  • Support FRACAS and maintenance trend analysis by coordinating logistics data tied to recurring failures and repair activity
  • Assist with depot repair tracking and repair pipeline visibility
  • Support DMSMS identification and material availability risk analysis
  • Monitor operational availability impacts caused by logistics or supply chain delays
  • Assist with development and maintenance of Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives supporting award fee performance objectives
  • Support emergency/surge logistics operations during major training events or fielding activities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working in government contracting or regulated environments preferred
  • Experience with ERP, CMMS, or property management systems such as IBM Maximo, MAS 8, SAP, or similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and reporting/analysis tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced operational environments
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across functional teams

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs
  • Familiarity with FAR/DFARS government property requirements
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed operations
  • Knowledge of fleet management processes and GSA vehicle programs
  • Experience with inventory forecasting, KPI development, and operational reporting
  • Understanding of TADSS sustainment operations is highly desirable


Education & Experience:
  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field preferred or
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, fleet management, or supply chain analysis.
