Senior Legal Analyst
Western Union is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Legal Analyst to join our high-performing and collaborative Litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to a broad range of litigation matters at a well-respected and purpose-driven global company.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys across all phases of litigation: from initial intake, to discovery, to resolution.
Manage and respond to litigation demands, regulatory inquiries, and small claims by gathering and analyzing relevant facts and documentation, evaluating supporting information, and communicating directly with consumers, regulators, and court representatives.
Collaborate cross functionally with colleagues in legal, compliance, and other business units to drive smooth execution of litigation strategy.
Serve as a key liaison with outside counsel, internal business units, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Assist with case preparation, including organizing and managing large volumes of documents and evidence.
Draft and review legal correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests, and responses under attorney supervision.
Maintain litigation files, document-management systems, and case databases to ensure accuracy and best practices.
Drive process improvements and train others.
Identify case trends to drive improvements to customer experience.
Contribute positively to the team environment – bringing energy, curiosity, and a team-first mindset.
Basic Qualifications
3+ years of paralegal litigation experience, preferably within a corporate law department or law firm supporting complex litigation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superior organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong research skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with review of complex legal documents and/or preparation of complex legal responses/documents under attorney supervision.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technologies.
Preferred:
ABA approved paralegal certificate.
WORKPLACE OPTION

Salary
The base salary range is $89,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus annual incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
