Job description
As part of CGI's Business Consulting team, you will join the CIO Advisory practice as a Senior Advisor with a focus on IT governance in transformation contexts.
You will advise CIOs and management teams on structuring decisions that affect governance, performance, risk and IT value creation.
You will carry out diagnostics, define target operational models and develop realistic roadmaps, adapted to the maturity, priorities and capacity for change of each organization.
Your added value will be based on your ability to transform recognized standards into clear, pragmatic and applicable recommendations, and then mobilize stakeholders around the proposed changes.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Your responsibilities
• Advise senior management and IT managers on choices regarding IT governance, organization, and transformation
• Lead or carry out governance and maturity diagnostics, then formulate substantiated findings and prioritized recommendations
• Define target operational models covering, in particular, roles, responsibilities, decision-making rights, committees, processes, and indicators
• Develop pragmatic roadmaps that specify the initiatives, sequences, dependencies, efforts, and conditions for success
• Conduct interviews and workshops with leaders, managers, and experts to establish a shared understanding of the issues
• Adapt COBIT and other recognized frameworks to the context, size, and maturity of client organizations
• Design or improve mechanisms for managing performance, risks, investments, services, and value
• Accompany the implementation of recommendations and support stakeholder buy-in
• Contribute to the quality of deliverables, the sharing of practices, and, as needed, service proposals

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology or a related field
• 8 or more years of IT experience, including significant experience in IT governance, ideally supplemented by experience in service management or performance management
• Experience in defining or evolving enterprise IT governance frameworks
• Strong command of governance and service management frameworks (COBIT, ITIL), with the ability to adapt them pragmatically
• COBIT certification is a plus
• Experience working in a consulting firm and supporting IT leadership on strategic issues (operational model, governance, transformation)
• Ability to interact with senior executives (CIO, CFO, business unit leaders) and influence decision-making
• Independence, leadership, proactivity, and the ability to navigate complex environments
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English
