Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to lead medium- to large-scale ITC and WSIB initiatives. In this role, you will provide strategic business analysis expertise to support transformation, process improvement, and technology-enabled change. You will work closely with business partners, project teams, and leadership to identify opportunities, define solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
What you'll do
- Lead complex business analysis for enterprise-wide projects and initiatives
- Facilitate workshops to gather, validate, and refine business requirements, processes, workflows, and business rules
- Translate business needs into clear functional and information requirements
- Identify options, assess impacts, and recommend solutions that meet business objectives
- Support business transformation, process redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop project proposals, business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and briefing materials
- Partner with Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Enterprise Architects on solution design and implementation
- Provide planning input, functional leadership, and guidance throughout development, testing, and implementation
- Lead discussions and build consensus with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Mentor Business Analysts and provide advice on best practices, methodology, and project deliverables
- Contribute subject matter expertise to procurement activities, including bid evaluation and vendor selection
- Research and apply innovative tools, technologies, and methods to improve systems and services
What you bring:
Education
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Commerce, Science, or Social Science
Experience
- Seven years of experience in business analysis, business process re-engineering, process remodelling, and business transformation
