Full Job Description
The Senior IT Architect - Software Engineering and Integrations provides enterprise architecture leadership for software development, integrations, APIs, middleware, SAP-related solutions, and cloud platforms. The role defines technical standards and solution patterns, leads architecture and design governance, oversees MSP providers and vendors, and ensures secure, scalable, high-quality delivery aligned with business priorities, Rehlko architecture principles, service levels, and operational excellence. Specific Responsibilities: - Software Development and Integration Strategy: Define and implement software development and integration strategies that align with business goals, enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and the broader technology landscape. - Solution and Architecture Design: Develop and maintain architecture and solution blueprints for custom applications, APIs, integrations, middleware platforms, SAP extensions, and cloud-based solutions. - Technical Project Leadership: Lead software development and integration projects from architecture through delivery, including planning, technical direction, execution oversight, and alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. - Technical Oversight: Provide architectural guidance, technical leadership, and delivery oversight to internal developers, integration specialists, MSPs, and vendors performing hands-on software development and integration work. - Middleware Management: Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of middleware solutions to ensure seamless communication between systems. - Collaboration: Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - MSP Provider Leadership and Governance: Lead, coordinate, and oversee MSP providers to ensure delivery of software development, integration, support, and operational activities in line with agreed scope, project requirements, timelines, service levels, quality standards, security expectations, and Rehlko architecture principles. - Quality Assurance: Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality software and integration solutions, adherence to best practices, maintainability, scalability, security, and compliance with standards. - Troubleshooting and Support: Identify and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. - Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration processes, architecture, and configurations. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and trends and continuously improve integration processes and solutions. - Risk Management: Identify potential risks in integration projects and develop mitigation strategies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology - 15+ years IT experience including 3 - 5+ years showing success as technical lead in concurrent projects. - Significant depth of expertise and track record of accomplishments in multiple IT technology areas Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future The Salary range for this position is $129,150.00-$165,000.00.The specific Salary rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
