Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
- Experience leveraging generative AI tools and workflows for rapid prototyping and interface exploration.
- Experience designing technical enterprise cloud applications.

As a Senior Interaction Designer on the AI and Compute Infrastructure (ACI) UX team, you will help shape the future of cloud computing in the agentic era. You will drive the design strategy and user-experience idea for critical infrastructure platforms, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Compute Engine (GCE), enabling enterprise customers to harness Google's AI hyper-computer architecture. In this role, you will navigate complex, ambiguous spaces to design intuitive and scalable enterprise solutions, collaborate with cross-functional leaders, and lead UX excellence to accelerate next-generation AI infrastructure.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities - Lead the UX idea and design strategy for complex, ambiguous AI and compute infrastructure domains to align with long-term business objectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to design useful, consistent, and scalable agent-native cloud products.
- Communicate user experiences at various stages of the design process using high-level storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Influence and contribute to the evolution of global design systems to ensure their utility for applications.
- Mentor and guide junior UX designers, providing constructive design feedback, fostering professional development and craft excellence.
