About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to help us deliver on that agenda. This is not a coordination role. You will own a portfolio of concurrent, high-visibility initiatives and be accountable for driving them to completion on time, on budget, and with measurable outcomes that matter to the organization. You will work directly with IT leadership and business stakeholders across the organization. You will manage external vendors. You will present status and risk to executive audiences. You will expand what IT can take on and deliver, bringing dedicated project ownership to a team with high ambitions and a lot in motion. If you are a senior PM who thrives on variety, earns trust across technical and business audiences, and holds yourself to the same standard you hold your teams, this is the role. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

What You Will Do

Own a Mixed Project Portfolio
Lead delivery of concurrent IT initiatives spanning infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, and data. You bring the experience to assess each effort and apply the right delivery approach - waterfall, agile, or hybrid - based on what the work requires.

Run the Full Delivery Lifecycle
From charter and kickoff through execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and post-launch review, you own the outcome. You do not hand projects off. You see them through and leave a clear record of what was delivered and what was learned.

Keep Leadership Informed, Not Surprised
Develop and maintain clear, concise project reporting for IT leadership and executive stakeholders. Anticipate risks before they become issues, escalate with a recommended path forward, and translate technical complexity into the language that drives informed decisions.

Manage Vendor and Third-Party Delivery
Hold external vendors and service providers accountable to contract milestones, quality standards, and timelines. You bring enough technical fluency to know when delivery is off track and enough professional credibility to address it directly.

Deliver with Discipline
Execute within a structured project delivery framework and apply it consistently across your portfolio - intake, planning, status reporting, and close-out - adapting where the work demands it.

Partner Across the Organization
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Kilroy. Connect project outcomes to what the organization is trying to accomplish, communicate with honesty and precision, and be the partner people want on their most important initiatives.

Qualifications

Required
  • 7-10 years of IT project management experience across a mixed portfolio.
  • Strong command of both waterfall and agile methodologies; confident adapting to project context.
  • Experience coordinating with external vendors and third-party delivery teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Jira, or comparable).
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communicator; able to present risk and status to executive audiences.

Preferred
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience in real estate, commercial property, or a portfolio-driven industry.
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms common to real estate operations (Yardi, MRI, or similar).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity, data, or infrastructure programs.

What we offer
At Kilroy, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within the role. The base pay range for this role is between $135,000 and $170,000 and your base pay will depend on your skills, experience and training, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus as well.

Our comprehensive group health benefits program is built around your total health and provides employees and their families with care and coverage designed to help you thrive. Our health and wellness program offerings include medical, dental, vision, with FSA, HSA options, Group Life & Disability, LTD coverage and much more. Ancillary programs include a retirement savings plan with a competitive employer match, employee support programs like our parental leave coaching program, wellness, and commuter benefits, just to name a few.
