Job Title

Senior Information Assurance Security Engineer

Job Description

This position will be based at Washington, DC

Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders and other system engineers to understand requirements and translate them into automated API integrations leveraging Xacta 360 and Xacta.io's API capabilities.
• Learn and become familiar with the Xacta Software Suite, deployment methodologies and integration with customer security processes.
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operational performance and streamline customer Risk Management Framework workflow processes.
• Interacts daily in person, via email and phone conversations with a large user base to provide user support to Xacta software users.
• Complete assignments with independent thought and action within the scope of specific assignments.
• Work cooperatively with other Telos employees, government agencies, and other industry partners.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• An active Top-Secret Clearance is required with ability to obtain a TS/SCI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years).
• 5+ years of relevant IT Security/Computer Science/Information Security Experience required.
• Experience using Python to build API Integrations
• Demonstrated ability to work tasks autonomously.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required.
• A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required.
• Detail oriented with an emphasis on high quality of deliverables.
• Experience using Python to build API Integrations
• Strong understanding of application security requirements and best practices
• Experience in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of complex technical issues.

Desired Additional Skills:
• Experience with other scripting languages such as PHP, JSON, or Apache Velocity highly desired.
• Risk Management Framework and NIST security requirements highly desired.
• Experience with the Xacta software suite or other GRC automation tools.

The successful candidate must meet eligibility requirements to access sensitive information, which requires US citizenship.
