Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HRIS and HR Compliance Analyst to join our Human Resources team. In this role, the successful candidate will serve as a senior individual contributor supporting the administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Workday and associated HR systems. This candidate will also support HR compliance activities.

Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday to Friday; On-site
Reports to: Senior Human Resources Manager

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in payroll, HRIS administration, HR systems, or related HR operations role.


  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on HRIS experience, preferably with Workday.


  • Experience processing employee lifecycle transactions and system changes, including new hires, terminations, job changes, compensation changes, manager changes, department changes, and other employee data updates.
  • Experience with HRIS configuration support, business processes, reporting, data audits, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Working knowledge of HR compliance reporting, employee recordkeeping, internal controls, data privacy, audit support, and employment-related documentation requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday experience strongly preferred, especially in Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits data, reporting, business processes, integrations, security, and release testing.
  • Experience supporting HR-related compliance reporting, audits, compliance reporting, workforce surveys, and year-end activities, including Workers' Compensation, EEO-1, payroll, HRIS, 401(k), and other internal or external audit processes.
  • Experience with HRIS implementations, optimization projects, release testing, integration troubleshooting, workflow configuration, or process automation.
  • HRIP, SHRM-CP, PHR, CPP, FPC, Workday training, Workday certification, or other relevant HR, payroll, compliance, or HR technology credential preferred.


In this role you will:

  • Serve as a senior functional resource for Workday and related HR systems, supporting HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, employees, and managers with system functionality, data integrity, troubleshooting, transaction processing, and process guidance.


  • Maintain and enhance HRIS configuration, including but not limited to business processes, feature adoption, employee data fields, supervisory organizations, payroll-related setup, absence and time-related data elements, reports, integrations, security/access considerations, and other approved system changes.


  • Process employee system changes in Workday and related systems, including new hires, terminations, job changes, promotions, compensation changes, deduction changes, manager/department/location changes, restructures, and other employee lifecycle transactions; review requests for accuracy, completeness, supporting documentation, payroll or compliance impact, and required approvals before processing.


  • Monitor HRIS integrations and scheduled data feeds; review integration run results; investigate errors; coordinate corrections with internal stakeholders and vendors; and maintain recurring integration schedules.


  • Coordinate and complete recurring HR compliance and workforce reporting, including applicable federal, state, local, industry, and benchmarking surveys, Workers' Compensation audits, EEO-1 reporting, year-end payroll activities, and other required compliance reporting, in partnership with HR leadership, Finance, Payroll, Legal, and external vendors as needed.


  • Support data preparation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting for payroll cycles, annual compensation processes, budgeting, audits, compliance reporting, HR projects, and organizational changes.


  • Provide timely, accurate, and service-oriented support to employees, managers, HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders regarding Workday tasks, system access, navigation, transaction status, reporting, and process requirements.


  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, system efficiency, reporting quality, user experience, and HR process consistency.
