Role Summary

TheRare Disease – Endocrinology, Senior Health & Science Specialistis a field-based specialty sales role responsible for driving the growth of the Endocrinology portfolio through compliant, strategic relationships within assigned accounts. This role partners with Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to execute effective promotional strategies, supportappropriate access, and deliver high-impact customer engagement. The Rare Disease – Endocrinology Health & Science Specialistleveragesstrong sales acumen, product and disease-stateexpertise, and a structured approach to in-person engagement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve businessobjectives.

RoleResponsibilities

  • Drive customer engagement and sales performance through effective in-personand virtualinteractionsacross endocrinology accounts.

  • Build strong, compliant relationships with endocrinologists, advanced practice providers, multidisciplinary care teams, and office staff across assigned accounts.

  • Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to supportappropriate Endocrinologyproduct use.

  • Leverageproduct,disease, and market knowledge toidentifyopportunities, prioritize accounts, and supportappropriate patientidentification and referral pathways in endocrine disease.

  • Support patient access by providing information on prior authorization requirements, reimbursement support, hubs, and co-pay resources as applicable.

  • Compliantly collaboratewith cross-functional partners to address customer needs, remove access barriers, and advance Endocrinology businessobjectives.

  • Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, andoptimizeEndocrinology territory activities.

Basic Qualifications

Education:Bachelorsdegree

  • OR anassociates degreewith 8+ years ofworkexperience

  • OR ahighschool diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years ofworkexperience.

Work Experience:Minimum of 3 years in one or more of the following:

  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales

  • Pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing

  • Aligned therapeutic specific healthcare provider experience

Drivers Licensing Requirement:ValidUS drivers license and driving record in compliance with company standards.

  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify you from being hired.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 6 years of specialty sales experience, preferably inEndocrinology

  • Strong understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement

  • Experience engaging key opinion leaders and high-influence accounts

  • Demonstrated business acumen, data-driven decision making, and strategic thinking

  • Strong digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage,Teams, Microsoft Office) and comfort in hybrid selling models

Work Location & Travel Requirements

  • This role is field based and requires the colleague toresidewithin a workable distance of all points of business within the assigned territory to effectively meet business needs.

  • Determination of workable distance will be made based on business requirements and leadership discretion.

  • Ability to travel to all accounts/office locations within territory

  • Depending on size of territory and business need, candidates maybe requiredto stay overnight as necessary

Geography: Michigan, part of upper OH (Toledo area), and a small portion of IN (Fort Wayne). Ideal candidate location is greater Detroit or Flint area.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $108,600 - $250,700.During initial new hire sales training, you will be classified as a salary non-exempt employee which entitles you to overtime pay. Upon your training certification, you will become an overtime exempt employee.In addition, this position offers an additional Sales Incentive bonus.
