Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong production experience in Angular, TypeScript, Java, distributed services, and AWS, along with demonstrated daily use of AI-assisted development tools. The ideal candidate will build and maintain Angular micro-frontends and backend services supporting regulatory form filing, develop schema-driven rendering and validation pipelines, and contribute to modernization and technical strategy. The role requires strong computer science fundamentals, hands-on cloud engineering, technical leadership, and the ability to independently solve complex problems while building reusable AI-driven engineering automation.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Angular micro-frontends and backend services, including REST APIs and AWS Lambda functions, supporting regulatory form filing.
• Author and evolve JSON Schema and layout definitions, along with schema-driven rendering and validation pipelines.
• Build and support the filing lifecycle, including draft creation, amendments, submissions, and cross-section and cross-system validation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced engineers while improving code quality, performance, and testing practices.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical strategy for modernization initiatives.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and cross-team dependencies before they impact delivery.
• Support production systems and troubleshoot complex issues, including validation failures, schema/layout mismatches, and filing lifecycle defects.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro, Claude, and Copilot for code generation, refactoring, debugging, test authoring, schema and layout drafting, seed data, and documentation while maintaining ownership of output, test coverage, and security.
• Build reusable AI-assisted engineering automation, including specifications, steering rules, agent skills and hooks, code indexers, test generators, review assistants, and prompt libraries.
• Identify repetitive workflows and automate them to improve engineering productivity and measurably reduce development effort.
• Design reliable and debuggable agent workflows that produce deterministic and testable outcomes using tool use, MCP, and multi-step agent architectures.
• Work within approved tool boundaries when handling non-public filing data.
• Simplify code and infrastructure while prioritizing improvements that reduce maintenance and migration costs.
• Independently solve broad and ambiguous technical problems and exercise sound engineering judgment.
• Contribute to short-, mid-, and long-term engineering goals aligned with business and regulatory needs.
• Build collaborative relationships across teams, incorporate diverse perspectives, and drive decisions through effective collaboration.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline with at least 7 years of related experience, or equivalent training and work experience.
• Demonstrated daily, hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools in a production environment, with specific examples of automated workflows and measurable time savings.
• Ability to demonstrate an AI-assisted engineering artifact, such as an end-to-end specification, steering files, agent skill or hook, MCP integration, or reusable prompt/script library.
• Production experience with Angular and TypeScript on a current Angular release line, using strict mode.
• Strong object-oriented development experience in Java and system design experience for distributed services.
• Strong hands-on experience building and operating applications on AWS.
• Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithm design, data structures, complexity analysis, and problem solving.
• Experience with RxJS for reactive state management and data flow.
• Experience authoring JSON Schema, including draft-07, and implementing schema-driven UI rendering.
• Experience with Angular Formly or a comparable dynamic form engine.
• Experience with Angular micro-frontends, including Angular Elements or multi-project workspaces.
• Experience implementing complex form behaviors such as conditional visibility, cross-section copy, and array-based schedules.
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing and Karma/Jasmine for unit testing.
• Experience with SCSS, responsive layouts, and accessibility compliance.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot for validation engines and data collection services.
• Experience with Spring Expression Language (SpEL) for assertion-based validation rules.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, and API Gateway.
• Experience with observability and troubleshooting using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and X-Ray.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and cloud-based deployment practices.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins and Bitbucket, including Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and release orchestration.

• Experience with schema-driven development and dynamic form rendering using Angular Formly or JSON Schema.
