The Role:

As Senior FP&A Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of strategy, finance, and firm leadership in a high visibility, high impact role. Beyond traditional reporting, you will serve as a strategic thought partner, translating complex financial data into insights that shape decision making across the Firm.

As a key contributor to our financial infrastructure, you will help connect long term strategic objectives with day to day operational execution. The role is ideal for a finance professional who combines analytical depth with strong business intuition and the ability to influence senior stakeholders through compelling financial storytelling.

The Senior FP&A Analyst is a critical partner to firm leadership, providing the financial insight needed to drive informed strategic and operational decisions. You will connect financial performance with business priorities, shaping resource allocation, investment decisions, and long range planning.

Through clear analysis, strong business partnership, and modern finance tools, including Power BI or Tableau and emerging AI enabled capabilities, you will help ensure Harris Williams operates with financial discipline, transparency, and agility as the Firm continues to grow. You will have direct exposure to senior leaders across Operations, Finance, IT, and Marketing, and real influence over how the Firm plans and invests.

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Partnering
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and department heads across Operations, Finance, IT, and Marketing.
  • Provide data driven insights and recommendations to support resource allocation, expense management, and headcount planning.
  • Serve as a consultative partner, helping leaders understand the financial implications and trade offs tied to business decisions.


Advanced Financial Analysis and Performance Management
  • Lead long term financial modeling, trend analysis, and assessments of macroeconomic impacts.
  • Support monthly business reviews, delivering deep dive variance analyses focused on root cause identification and forward looking insights.
  • Identify patterns and risks that inform both near term actions and longer term strategy.
  • Support financial feasibility analysis and diligence for internal strategic initiatives.


Forecasting and Planning
  • Lead revenue forecasting, monthly management reporting, and updates to long range financial plans.
  • Develop and maintain scenario models to evaluate business risks, opportunities, and strategic trade offs.


Executive Reporting and Financial Storytelling
  • Prepare high impact materials for executive leadership, including dashboards, commentary, and presentations.
  • Translate complex financial results into clear, concise narratives that enable informed, timely decision making.


Digital Finance and Process Transformation
  • Drive automation and modernization of FP&A processes, including the implementation of AI enabled tools and enhanced data workflows.
  • Continuously improve Power BI or Tableau dashboards to provide real time visibility into firm performance.


Job Specific Competencies, Education and Experience:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within investment banking, private equity, professional services, or another fast paced, high growth environment.
  • Expert level Excel skills, with demonstrated experience building complex financial and scenario models.
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools.


Preferred
  • CPA and/or a Master's degree, considered a differentiator for this senior level role.
  • Tableau or Power BI experience.
  • Experience working with modern ERP systems and a strong interest in leveraging AI and automation within finance workflows.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
