Full Job Description
We are seeking a strategic, collaborative Senior Financial Planning and Analyst to join our Finance team as a dedicated partner to our Tech organizations (Data Engineering, Data Science, Core Tech, IT, and Security).

In this role, you will work closely with Executive leadership-including the Chief Technology Officer (CTO)-to drive financial planning, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver and skilled communicator who excels in dynamic environments, navigates ambiguity with confidence, and builds strong, trusted relationships across the business.

About the Senior Financial Planning and Analyst:

Strategic Business Partnering & Advisory
  • Serve as the primary Finance lead for the CTO and leadership team across Tech organizations, including Data Engineering, Data Science, Core Tech, IT, and Security
  • Build collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders, providing clear financial context, actionable insights, and proactive guidance on strategic initiatives
  • Develop flexible headcount capacity models and financial scenario analyses to help leadership evaluate technical roadmap investments in real time
  • Partner with Tech leads to model, forecast, and optimize Cloud/GCP spend and IT/security infrastructure expenses


Operational Excellence & Process Innovation
  • Proactively identify operational efficiencies independently, bringing well-structured solutions and data-driven recommendations to leadership
  • Drive reporting automation and process improvements by leveraging modern AI tools (eg, Gemini, Claude) and Power BI to streamline workflows
  • Ensure high data integrity and accuracy across all financial deliverable models and board-level presentations


Systems & Financial Reporting
  • Extract, analyze, and synthesize financial data across core systems, including Oracle, Workday, Concur, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence)
  • Build and maintain scalable, dynamic financial models and presentation materials primarily within Google Sheets and Google Workspace


About You as the Senior Financial Planning and Analyst:
  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally with experience supporting technology teams, cloud/infrastructure expense management, or partnering with executive leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of technology organization expense structures, including headcount planning and cloud infrastructure drivers
  • Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Oracle, Workday, Concur, and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) Advanced modeling skills in Google Sheets/Excel
  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI) and emerging AI tools (eg, Gemini, Claude) for workflow automation
  • Ability to adapt and reprioritize effectively and remain agile in response to evolving business strategies
  • Focuses on framing options, highlighting trade-offs, and proposing actionable recommendations
  • Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence, clear communication, and confidence when engaging with senior executive leadership
