Position Title: Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Location: Irvine, CA

Position SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting of Programmatic Finances. The role requires high proficiency in Excel, attention to detail, and ability to "see the bigger picture" beyond the numbers. This role will work across a wide array of programs across the organization and work closely in partnership with various Programs offices.
Required Duties and Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Program Managers to provide accurate, timely, and informative reporting and forecasting for each division
- Provide deep-dive financial analysis and actionable recommendations that shape departmental and company-wide strategic decisions.
- Own the development and scalable management of budgets and forecasts, including operating expenses and headcount.
- Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide clear explanations for variances to further our forecasting accuracy.
- Build and refine financial models to evaluate business performance, investment opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support special projects, strategic initiatives, and executive requests.
Required Skills/Qualifications:- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey financial concepts to both finance and non-finance stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Positive attitude with high aptitude to learn new things quickly. Team player eager to further develop and grow with us.
- Demonstrate intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and hunger to continually up-level current approaches and processes.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail - "get it done" attitude.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central ERP system
- Experience working with Defense Contracting
Education: - Degree in Management Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
