Copart is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will provide analytical support on corporate development, forecasting, variance analysis, management reporting, and ad-hoc financial analysis.
Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
- Provide financial and analytical support for senior leadership and various business unit leaders across the enterprise
- Support the Corporate Development team and business stakeholders in all acquisition activities
- Proactively review and monitor business performance and provide meaningful, actionable insights
- Develop financial forecasts with full integration of income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Monitor business-driven, quantifiable key performance indicators
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of business unit level operational reporting and forecasting
- Accurate and timely ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA a strong plus)
- Minimum two years of work experience across Financial and Accounting responsibilities
- Ability to interact effectively and confidently with all levels of management
- Proactive self-starter capable of adapting to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of urgency
- Ability to organize and manage large data sets and apply strong analytical skills to resolve complex problems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset with a focus on financial model development
- Experience with industry-leading ERP/Financial tools like OneStream, Workday, Workiva, FloQast, or similar
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Leadership skills, including those necessary for effective project and people management
- Experience with PowerPoint
- A natural sense of curiosity
Preferred:- Multi-national experience
- Experience with Tableau
- Experience with SQL
