Full Job Description
The Opportunity

We're looking for a sharp, experienced finance professional who brings more than execution to the table. You understand financial systems and reporting inside and out-the reconciliations, the compliance requirements, the places things go wrong-and you pair that with a strong analytical mindset that lets you catch problems early, explain them clearly, and fix them systematically.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role with real ownership. You'll manage complex reconciliations across our financial systems, support billing and collections workflows, and build the analytical infrastructure that makes this function scalable.

What You'll Own

  • Reconcile data across financial systems-including our ERP, billing platform, and data warehouse-to maintain a single source of truth and catch discrepancies before they escalate.
  • Lead remediation when financial errors occur: identify root cause, quantify impact, coordinate corrections, and document resolution with a clean audit trail.
  • Query data to support collections workflows-quantifying overdue balances, identifying aging trends, and producing outputs that guide prioritization.
  • Prepare and own GL reconciliations, ensuring revenue, costs, and liabilities are accurately posted each period.
  • Drive month-end and quarter-end close: journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and variance explanations with supporting documentation.
  • Build and maintain financial models tracking billing volumes, payment trends, and outstanding balances across entities and regions.
  • Produce structured reports and summaries for Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Own financial controls documentation across all jurisdictions, keeping it audit-ready at all times.
  • Build SOPs, reconciliation templates, and reporting tools that scale with the team.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of experience spanning payment operations, accounting, strategic finance, in any combination.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • Background in EOR, staffing, or multi-entity global payroll is a strong asset.
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting skills: journal entries, accruals, GL reconciliations, variance analysis, and cost modeling.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets. You can build clean, auditable models that others can follow and stress-test.
  • Proficiency with a major HCM or payroll platform; experience with accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a strong asset.
  • Payroll and accounting certifications are equally valued.
  • Highly detail-oriented, analytically curious, and a clear communicator who can translate financial data for non-finance stakeholders without losing nuance.
