Senior Financial Accountant - Brief Description
Review invoices, expense reports, and other accounts payable. Collaborate with Financial Accounting and Analysis Director on budget preparation, forecasting, financial reporting, and auditing to provide financial support across TSMC's business units.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare proposed and revised budgets on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Book and track related-party transactions.
• Perform G/L account reconciliation and ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Provide assessments and improvements to financial systems; develop and implement financial accounting processes and controls; and utilize complex financial models to drive data collection and analysis to support financial planning, forecasting, and operational efficiencies.
• Stay abreast of changes to accounting regulations and reporting standards to recommend appropriate changes to financial systems, processes, policies, and controls to ensure accuracy and financial compliance throughout TSMC's financial accounting framework.
• Ensure accuracy of financial entries in accordance with GAAP/IFRS and compliance with internal policies.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and 3 years of accounting experience.
• Alternatively, company will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and 1 year of accounting experience.

Technical Skills:

• Must have education or experience in each of the following skills:
  • Applying US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) practices;
  • Analyzing financial records, including general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and capital budgets to identify and correct errors and discrepancies;
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and SAP to complete complex financial analyses; and
  • Designing and implementing audit testing and internal control procedures for managing fixed assets and identifying control deficiencies.

Physical Requirements:

• Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at our Phoenix Arizona facility.

Standard Work Hours: 40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
