You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping nonprofit leaders understand the financial story behind their programs and funding.
This Is a Thinking Role:We are looking for someone who is comfortable with ambiguity, asks strong questions, and can explain the why behind accounting decisions.
What You'll Actually Do:- Serve as the primary accounting resource for multiple nonprofit clients.
- Lead full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes.
- Analyze complex nonprofit accounting situations and recommend solutions.
- Guide clients on fund restrictions, allocations, and grant reporting.
- Communicate directly with executive directors and boards.
This Role Is NOT:- A transactional bookkeeping position.
- A checklist-only compliance job.

What You Bring:- 7-10 years of accounting experience with strong nonprofit exposure.
- Deep understanding accrual accounting, GAAP, and grant compliance.
- QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills.
Compensation & Work-Life Balance:- Salary: $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience.
