Job Details:
PURPOSE

The Senior Finance Business Partner provides strategic financial leadership and support to the healthcare system, ensuring alignment of financial strategies with organizational goals. This role collaborates with senior management, clinical leaders, and administrative teams to drive financial performance and decision-making. The Senior Finance Business Partner oversees essential financial functions, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Financial Planning
  • Develop long-term financial strategies and plans.
  • Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Align financial goals with organizational objectives.

Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare and update financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget adherence and recommend adjustments.

Financial Reporting
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational reporting requirements.
  • Present financial data to senior management and stakeholders.

Performance Analysis
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Recommend cost-saving measures and revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Support departments in implementing financial improvement initiatives.

Collaboration & Advisory
  • Act as a financial advisor to senior management and department heads.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings to discuss financial performance.
  • Provide training and support on financial processes and tools.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least seven (7) years of progressive professional experience in finance, accounting, or consulting with broad knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted, as appropriate.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience working with Workday Financials.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a financial role within an academic health institution.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA).


SALARY RANGE

$107,055 + depending on qualifications

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/EQUIPMENT
  • Standard office equipment.

  • Requires occasional travel to local, state, and national meetings.
