----PurposeThe Mechatronics Test Engineer is needed for hands-on prototyping and testing of testbeds and subsystems for next generation semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities- Design, fabrication, assembly of mechatronic testbeds for novel semiconductor subsystems.
- Verification & Test of built subsystems and testbeds.
- Data collection and analysis for quality control.
- Requirements verification and testing.
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date models of the above equipment systems.
- Spec and Procurement of various equipment sub-systems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications- Mechatronics Test Engineer I:
At least 4 years of prior work experience in electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, test and measurement, or other relevant disciplines
- Mechatronics Test Engineer II:
At least 6 years of prior work experience in electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, test and measurement, or other relevant disciplines
- Mechatronics Test Engineer III:
At least 8 years of prior work experience in electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, test and measurement, or other relevant disciplines
For all levels: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or relevant disciplines
- Hands-on and well versed in using hand tools, assembly, bring-up and testing
- Experience writing and maintaining test scripts/programs and data analysis
- Troubleshooting and electro-mechanical system debugging experience
- Basic experience with PLC's (Beckhoff, Allen Bradley or similar)
- Basic CAD experience (CREO, SolidWorks or similar)
- Basic PCB design experience (Altium Designer or similar)
- Goal oriented and ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in teams
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or relevant disciplines
- More than 4 years of prior work experience in electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, test and measurement, or other relevant disciplines
- Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: nanofabrication, precision machine design, mechatronics, systems and controls, instrumentation, optical systems design

Work ShiftMonday to Friday 40 hours per week.
