ABOUT THE POSITION
The Columbia Sportswear Finance Enablement team enables the organization to create capacity, efficiency, and scalability by optimizing the ways we drive value creation. The organization is also driving exciting innovation in the application of advanced analytics and automated intelligence.


Youll play a key role in driving the strategic priority of transforming global Finance capabilities, with the Enterprise goal of driving relentless improvement. You also partner with the Continuous Improvement Program Manager to build the capability and culture of Continuous Improvement within Finance, globally. You also partner with business process owners to drive measurable benefits through process optimization efforts.

HOW YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Support and facilitate various process improvement efforts within Finance, or cross-functionally, utilizing established methodology and tools based in Lean principles (current state analysis, goal and problem statement, future state vision, voice of the customer, SIPOC, root cause analysis, etc.)
  • Collate and report on measurement of Continuous Improvement benefits
  • Serve as an evangelist and change agent for Continuous Improvement within Finance to drive ongoing momentum and engagement within Finance
  • Create and deliver Continuous Improvement training and coaching
  • Assist in maintaining and updating Continuous Improvement resources such as the SharePoint site and monthly newsletter
  • Ability to work and communicate comfortably with business process owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners to create efficient and effective processes
  • Effectively summarize and communicate options and improvement recommendations to sponsors so they can make well-informed decisions

YOU ARE

  • A self-starter who is passionate about process improvement
  • A highly collaborative communicator and meeting facilitator
  • Accustomed to tight deadlines within a growing business

YOU HAVE

  • 4+ years of Finance or process related professional experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma belt certification/experience is a plus
  • Prosci or similar change management certification/experience is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience
