What You'll Do:

As a Senior Executive Sourcer, you will lead the proactive identification, engagement, and cultivation of world-class executive talent across multiple business functions. You'll combine research, insights, and innovative sourcing strategies to build strong and diverse leadership pipelines while acting as a trusted advisor to recruiters, hiring managers, and senior stakeholders.
  • Design and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract, engage, and nurture top executive-level talent through research, market mapping, and targeted outreach.
  • Partner with Executive Recruiters and senior business leaders to deeply understand leadership needs, role impact, and organizational priorities.
  • Develop market intelligence and insights, providing competitive research, industry mapping, and succession planning frameworks to inform hiring decisions and influence long-term talent planning.
  • Act as a strategic talent advisor, sharing market trends, data, and recommendations to help shape executive hiring strategies and decision-making.
  • Build and maintain a diverse executive pipeline, ensuring a balance of proactive sourcing and relationship development for current and future needs.
  • Represent and elevate our employer brand by compelling outreach, storytelling, and authentic candidate engagement.
  • Track, measure, and analyze pipeline data to continually refine sourcing strategies and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiters, coordinators, and people partners to deliver a seamless and positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Continuously optimize tools, processes, and strategies, ensuring the sourcing function remains agile, data-driven, and scalable.

Who You Are:
  • 8+ years of experience in executive-level sourcing or executive search, with a strong emphasis on corporate/in-house environments; retained search or search firm experience is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing and engaging senior and C-suite talent within dynamic, high-growth, or global organizations.
  • Expert knowledge of executive search methodologies, market mapping, and candidate research techniques.
  • A trusted talent advisor skilled in influencing and partnering with senior stakeholders and hiring leaders.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and articulate complex opportunities to senior-level talent with poise and credibility.
  • Highly adept at building diverse leadership pipelines and utilizing multiple sourcing channels to uncover top talent.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategy and track results.
  • Emotionally intelligent, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
