Job Description
How you'll make a difference:
• Project manage moderately complex or mid-size congresses/event elements including pre-planning and post congress communications
• Develop and track project plans; track milestones and alert to deadlines.
• Negotiate contracts as needed
• Plan and execute mid-size scale regional conferences independently
• Manages deliverables and payments to Congress Associations; track and reconcile all project budgets
• Oversee and facilitate all ancillary meetings and requests at national congresses
• Participate in site evaluations
• Initiate and implement of all consulting agreements, non-discloser agreements and RFAA contracts; serve as liaison with legal department.
• Assist with event planning responsibilities such as communications, travel, AV, onsite set-up and F&B planning
• Other duties as assigned by Management
What you'll need (Required):
Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of previously related work experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Required
What else we look for (Preferred):
• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite
• Experience working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria Preferred
• Other: Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Preferred Or
• Other: Certified Meeting Professional healthcare subspecialty (CMP-HC) Preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills
• Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and investigative skills
• Solid knowledge and understanding of policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to strategic event planning
• Strict attention to detail
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work in a team environment with global marketing team and cross functional partners
• Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships
• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $68,000 to $96,000 (highly experienced).
