Overview

Our Nuclear Services Group is seeking a License Renewal Engineering Senior Manager to join the team. This role is a unique blend of leadership, strategy, and collaboration-where business insight meets people development and operational excellence.

Lead with purpose-build client relationships, guide a high-performing team, and shape strategic growth. From mentoring staff to driving proposals and uncovering new opportunities, every day is a chance to make an impact and move the business forward. This position can be located in one of the following locations:

  • Kennesaw, GA
  • Chattanooga, TN
  • Possibly remote

Responsibilities

The following responsibilities are representative of the duties and capabilities of this position but are not a complete and exhaustive list. Employees may be required to perform additional duties as well as those listed below:

  • Client & Business Development: Develop and maintain client relationships, develop and review proposals, and engage in customer interaction. Support marketing efforts, including identification of new business opportunities and proposal preparation. Assist with development and execution of business plans, market assessment and planning, contract negotiation, and product/service development
  • Team Leadership & Staff Development: Provide coaching, mentoring, performance reviews, and career development opportunities for the team. Hire, develop, and direct staff activities. Participate in technical recruiting programs
  • Project Oversight & Quality Management: Oversee staff, quality of deliverables, schedules, and budgets #LI-MB1 #LI-PJS

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university; and 15 years' experience in the US Commercial Nuclear Power Industry
  • 4+ years of supervision/management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead people
  • Demonstrated technical expertise and 2 plus years supervision/management experience in a license renewal or regulatory environment within the nuclear industry
  • Advanced knowledge of applicable government codes and industry standards
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel between 15-25% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
  • Must be able to gain authorization/clearance to access regulated electric utility facilities
  • PE License required

Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Advanced degrees preferred
  • Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license or certification preferred
