Senior Network EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Sr. Network Engineer to implement, maintain, and support BODi's network infrastructure. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, Network Infrastructure, you will ensure the day-to-day stability, performance, and security of our network and enterprise systems. This is an individual-contributor role focused on execution: configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and support, in close partnership with the cloud, security, and IT teams.
Key Responsibilities- Configure, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, (S)WAN, VPN, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, and cloud networking (AWS and Azure).
- Install, cable, configure, and maintain Arista physical switches (EOS), including rack-and-stack, MLAG/leaf-spine topologies, VLANs, and switch firmware lifecycle in data center and office environments.
- Configure and administer Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PAN-OS / Panorama), including security policies, NAT, VPN tunnels, and threat-prevention profiles, in partnership with the Security team.
- Monitor network performance and availability, and diagnose and resolve connectivity, latency, and performance issues.
- Support administration and lifecycle management of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) and identity via Okta.
- Implement network changes following established change-management processes, and maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and runbooks.
- Configure and manage firewall rules, VPN access, and access control in partnership with the Security team.
- Respond to incidents and support tickets, participate in an on-call rotation, and assist with root-cause analysis.
- Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management of network devices and enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Assist with capacity planning, disaster recovery testing, and network security audits.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Architecture & DevOps and Security teams to align networking with infrastructure and business needs.
- Stay current with networking trends and recommend improvements to reliability, performance, and security.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or network administration.
- Hands-on experience with routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure).
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls (PAN-OS / Panorama) and Arista switches (EOS), including physical switch deployment and cabling.
- Experience administering Windows, Linux, Microsoft 365, and Okta.
- Understanding of network security fundamentals, including ACLs, segmentation, and zero-trust concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
The applicable base salary range for each role varies based on several factors, including, but not limited to geographic location and job-related education, training, knowledge, and experience. This range may be modified in the future.
The pay range for this position is:
$115,700.00 - $143,160.00
