As a Senior End-to-End Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for validating complex business workflows spanning web applications, APIs, backend services, enterprise integrations, contact center platforms, and AI-powered solutions. You will design scalable automation frameworks, improve release quality, and increase deployment confidence across critical customer-facing applications.
This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on API, integration, regression, and smoke automation while maintaining high-value UI automation for critical business journeys. You will work closely with Software Engineering, Product, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and AI teams to deliver reliable, enterprise-scale solutions.
What You Will Accomplish- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for UI, API, integration, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- Build automation coverage for backend services, enterprise APIs, and cross-platform integration workflows.
- Validate critical customer support journeys across multiple systems, including web applications, backend services, contact center platforms, and third-party integrations.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and release quality gates to improve deployment confidence.
- Lead end-to-end release validation for large-scale platform migrations and enterprise initiatives.
- Partner with Software Engineering, Product, Infrastructure, Platform, and QE teams to define test strategies early in the development lifecycle.
- Perform root cause analysis for production issues and troubleshoot failures across UI, APIs, services, integrations, and data layers.
- Improve automation reliability, execution time, maintainability, and overall engineering efficiency through reusable frameworks and tooling.
- Support production deployments, hypercare, defect prevention, and release readiness activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in quality engineering practices, automation strategy, and operational excellence.
What You Will Bring- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, SDET, or Software Engineering with strong automation ownership.
- Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Strong experience in API automation, integration testing, backend validation, and service-level regression testing.
- Experience building scalable UI automation for modern web applications.
- Experience developing automation frameworks and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of regression testing, smoke testing, integration testing, release validation, and end-to-end quality engineering.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, APIs, databases, UI, and integration layers.
- Experience working in Agile environments with Git-based development workflows and code reviews.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with Genesys Cloud CX, contact center technologies, or customer support platforms.
- Experience with Cyara automation for voice, IVR, and end-to-end contact center validation.
- Experience testing enterprise workflow orchestration and multi-system integrations.
- Familiarity with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and distributed microservices.
- Experience with observability platforms, monitoring dashboards, logging, metrics, and tracing tools.
- Experience performing non-functional testing, performance validation, and operational readiness testing.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools for automation, code generation, or productivity improvements.
- Experience testing AI-powered applications, including Agentic AI workflows, LLM integrations, prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and enterprise AI solutions.
Additional DetailsThe base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$118,800 - $205,600
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
