Key Responsibilities and Priorities:- Develop system specifications based on customer requirements or internal specifications, demonstrating a keen ability to translate these requirements into actionable designs.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing and developing comprehensive analyses for circuits, including justification reports.
- Design and execute engineering and certification test plans, meticulously documenting results.
- Conduct software and hardware integration and testing, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Create electronic circuitry for both low and high voltage environments (28 Volt, 270 Volt, 115-400Hz AC).
- Possess a solid understanding of power electronics, including BLDC motors and induction motors.
- Exhibit familiarity with CAN bus applications and other communication protocols.
- Implement effective thermal management strategies for electronic assemblies in various environmental conditions.
- Utilize Ultium and other relevant software for application and electronic board layouts, adhering to IPCA standards.
- Demonstrate proficiency in minor software debugging and providing evaluation and diagnostics.
Education Requirements:A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a focus on Power Electronics or equivalent experience, is required.
Experience/Requirements:- A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing electronic circuit boards and validation processes.
- Prior experience in aerospace and aircraft applications is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot electronics hardware and software for corrective action.
- Knowledge of C++, DSP Programming, PSPice, Matlab modeling, CAN serial bus protocol, or LabView is a plus.
