Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced traveling Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee and execute electrical construction projects across multiple locations. This role is responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships while ensuring high-quality, safe, and profitable project delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, travel-based environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manage all phases of electrical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance
  • Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, and internal teams
  • Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals
  • Monitor job costs, productivity, and project profitability
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues proactively
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with NEC and all applicable regulations
  • Maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE

Qualified applicants will have:
  • Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or similar
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager (commercial or industrial preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-100%)
  • Valid driver's license
