We are seeking a Senior Network Support Specialist to support network operations, infrastructure evergreening and continuous improvement.. Starting September 14, 2026, this is a two-year, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with possible overtime. The role is hybrid, requiring eight on-site days per month in Ottawa. Candidates must hold a valid Secret security clearance or have resided in Canada for at least five years to be eligible to obtain one. Responsibilities include resolving complex cross-functional technical issues, implementing upgrades, troubleshooting production and non-production environments, and supporting testing for deployments, performance, failover, vulnerability remediation and disaster recovery.
The ideal candidate has a university degree or college diploma in a relevant technical field and at least five years of recent network management experience, including extensive hands-on work with Cisco switching and routing technologies-Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 9300, Catalyst 6508 and Cisco APIC. Required experience includes Azure Cloud Networking, IT operations, CI/CD, scalable high-availability service-oriented architectures and Agile delivery. Experience with ServiceNow and Cisco ASA and/or Check Point firewalls is considered an asset.
