Senior Network Solutions Engineer - Enterprise Networking & Wireless (Remote - California) Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contract | Competitive Compensation + Performance Incentives Location Remote - California This is a fully remote position supporting client environments across California. Position Overview The Senior Network Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and supporting enterprise networking solutions across campus, branch, cloud-connected, data center, and hybrid environments. This role works closely with sales teams, solutions architects, and client stakeholders to evaluate infrastructure requirements, develop scalable network architectures, support modernization initiatives, and ensure long-term operational success. In addition to technical delivery, this position plays a critical role in pre-sales engineering, proof-of-concept initiatives, technical workshops, architecture presentations, and strategic client consulting. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical expert with deep experience across enterprise networking, routing/switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security integration, and multi-vendor infrastructure environments. What You'll Do Enterprise Network Architecture & Engineering - Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise network infrastructures - Architect and support: - LAN - WAN - WLAN - SD-WAN - Hybrid connectivity environments - Configure and optimize advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies: - OSPF - BGP - EIGRP - MPLS - VLANs - STP - VXLAN / EVPN-VXLAN - QoS - Multicast - IPv6 - Design high-availability and redundant network architectures for mission-critical environments - Support campus, branch, and data center network modernization initiatives Wireless & Campus Networking - Design and optimize enterprise wireless solutions using: - Cisco - Cisco Meraki - HPE Aruba - Extreme Networks -
