Job Title: Senior .NET Software Developer (Project Lead)Position Overview Lead the design and development of custom web applications, APIs, SQL databases, and reporting solutions that support mission-critical business operations. This role combines hands-on .NET development with application support, system analysis, and collaboration across technical and business teams.
What You'll Do - Design, build, and implement custom web applications and APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems.
- Develop solutions using .NET, C#, SQL, XML, and JSON.
- Create reports using SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
- Perform system analysis, design, implementation, and application modifications.
- Provide production support and document issues and resolutions.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify system enhancements and defects.
- Develop technical specifications and maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications - 5+ years of Law Enforcement IT experience
- 5+ years developing web applications using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Blazor, Razor, or similar web technologies)
- 3+ years developing XML and JSON data transport methods
- 5+ years of unit testing and integration testing
- 5+ years with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI
- 5+ years supporting COTS and MOTS applications
- 5+ years of SQL database programming and architecture
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent work experience as specified
Preferred Qualifications - Experience developing AI agents or tools
- Microsoft 365 development (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power BI)
- GitHub and/or DevOps experience
- PowerShell scripting
- Test script development
