Job Title: Senior .NET Software Developer (Project Lead)

Position Overview

Lead the design and development of custom web applications, APIs, SQL databases, and reporting solutions that support mission-critical business operations. This role combines hands-on .NET development with application support, system analysis, and collaboration across technical and business teams.

What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and implement custom web applications and APIs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems.
  • Develop solutions using .NET, C#, SQL, XML, and JSON.
  • Create reports using SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting tools.
  • Perform system analysis, design, implementation, and application modifications.
  • Provide production support and document issues and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify system enhancements and defects.
  • Develop technical specifications and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Law Enforcement IT experience
  • 5+ years developing web applications using .NET technologies (ASP.NET, .NET Core, Blazor, Razor, or similar web technologies)
  • 3+ years developing XML and JSON data transport methods
  • 5+ years of unit testing and integration testing
  • 5+ years with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or Power BI
  • 5+ years supporting COTS and MOTS applications
  • 5+ years of SQL database programming and architecture
  • Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or equivalent work experience as specified

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience developing AI agents or tools
