Job Summary
The Senior .NET Developer will design and develop scalable, cloud-native applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7/8. The role focuses on microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and AWS cloud services, with mandatory hands-on experience in OpenSearch/Elasticsearch. The developer will build search-driven applications, optimize search performance, develop data ingestion and indexing pipelines, and support API and cloud integrations. Exposure to Generative AI technologies is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop scalable cloud-native applications using C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7/8.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Develop event-driven applications and integrations using distributed systems and messaging patterns.
• Build and integrate AWS cloud solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, and RDS.
• Design and implement OpenSearch/Elasticsearch solutions for enterprise search requirements.
• Develop search integrations and search-driven applications.
• Implement effective indexing strategies and data ingestion and indexing pipelines.
• Optimize search queries and perform performance tuning for OpenSearch/Elasticsearch environments.
• Implement search relevance tuning to improve search results and application experiences.
• Develop and maintain API integrations across distributed cloud-native systems.
• Troubleshoot application, API, search, integration, and production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable software solutions.
Required Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and .NET 6/7/8.
• Strong experience with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, and RDS.
• Experience designing and developing scalable cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and API integrations.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch.
• Experience designing search solutions and developing search integrations.
• Experience implementing indexing strategies and data ingestion/indexing pipelines.
• Experience with query optimization and search performance tuning.
• Experience with search relevance tuning.
• Experience building search-driven applications.
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AWS Bedrock, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, vector databases, or AI-powered application development.
• Experience with AWS AI-powered search and recommendation solutions.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or DevOps Engineer.
