Description
Reporting to the Regional Delivery Leader for North America, the Senior Technical Delivery Director will lead end-to-end delivery for a strategic US Tier 1 Telco Operator. This role is accountable for successful execution of Mobileum's product portfolio, customer satisfaction, delivery governance, resource planning, financial and operational performance. The leader will partner across Sales, Pre-Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, and Managed Services to drive delivery excellence, manage escalations, support growth opportunities, and meet revenue and forecasting objectives. This role is based in Seattle, USA.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the accountable end-to-end technical delivery leader for all customer programs, ensuring clear ownership across scope, execution, governance, escalations, and customer outcomes.
• Responsible for scoping, planning, estimating, resourcing, and managing the delivery of projects for a strategic US Tier 1 Telco Operator.
• Build trust and establish credibility by serving as a technical advisor to customer technical & leadership teams, and act as the primary point of escalation for delivery-related matters.
• Drive delivery excellence through implementation of delivery best practices, continuous process improvement and by leveraging innovative delivery models, tools, and automation.
• Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales teams to support the pursuit and closure of new opportunities and deals.
• Collaborate with Support and Managed Services teams to ensure operational excellence and customer success.
• Work closely with Product Management and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are properly designed, prioritized, and implemented.
• Own revenue forecasting and proactively manage dependencies to ensure achievement of financial targets.
• Lead resource management, including assignments, demand and supply forecasting, to optimize delivery capacity and capability.
• Manage the practice operationally to meet performance targets established by North America and global delivery leadership.
Operational Responsibilities
• Provide overall Program leadership and direct technical teams in the delivery of high-quality products within committed timeframes and budgets.
• Work daily with Project Directors, Project Managers, and Technical Delivery teams to execute project activities effectively.
• Champion end-to-end automation initiatives across delivery processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and enhance quality and speed of execution.
• Oversee test execution within customer environments, ensuring alignment with project requirements, and drive test automation frameworks to improve reliability, repeatability, and time-to-market.
• Manage technical issue escalations across Delivery and Engineering, involving Support and Managed Services where necessary.
• Identify delivery risks, assess their potential impact on project objectives, and implement mitigation plans to address them proactively.

Must-have skills
• 12+ years of technical delivery leadership experience managing complex telecom programs for strategic tier-one customers, with proven accountability for delivery execution, customer outcomes, and cross-functional coordination.
• Proven ability to lead customer-facing delivery recovery programs, including governance resets, delivery-quality improvements, executive escalation management, and cross-functional operating model improvements.
• Proven leadership in managing diverse, global technical teams within Telecom Delivery Services for Tier 1 Operators.
• Experience implementing and refining delivery governance, delivery-quality practices, KPIs, stakeholder management, and operating routines that improve service delivery performance.
• Executive presence with the ability to represent Mobileum confidently in high-pressure environments while maintaining structured engagement, professional boundaries, controlled governance forums, and fact-based decision-making.
• Hands-on, results-oriented leadership style with strong technical expertise in telecom, roaming, and network domains.
• Highly effective communicator - direct, concise, and action-oriented, with the ability to translate complex technical and delivery issues into clear options, trade-offs, actions, and executive-ready updates.
• Demonstrated success in setting and achieving goals, maintaining forecasting accuracy, and meeting revenue/margin objectives.
• Proven ability to recruit, lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams while assessing performance, improving operating models, and driving organizational change when needed.

Educational Qualification:
• An undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering is essential;
• Work authorization to work in the US is required.

Good-to-have skills
• An MBA is preferred
