Reporting to the President, Electromagnetic Defensive Solutions (EDS), Honeywell Aerospace, the Senior Director, Strategy and Growth is responsible for developing and executing the enterprise growth strategy across the global defense, commercial aerospace, and international markets. This executive will identify and capture new business opportunities, expand strategic customer relationships, and lead market development initiatives that accelerate sustainable revenue growth.

The leader will drive strategic pursuits across Electronic Warfare, Radar and Sensor Systems, Advanced RF technologies, Advanced Computing, AI-enabled mission systems, and emerging commercial applications. The role is accountable for achieving Annual Operating Plan (AOP) growth commitments while shaping and executing EDS's three-year and five-year Strategic Plan (STRAP).
Partner with Offering Management to identify, prioritize, and commercialize high-growth opportunities across unmanned platforms, autonomous systems, advanced RF technologies, AI-enabled mission systems, and adjacent commercial markets; ensuring alignment between customer demand, portfolio investments, product strategy, and growth execution.

The position partners closely with Honeywell Aerospace leadership, business units, Engineering, ISC, Product Management, Finance, and Honeywell Aerospace international and commercial organizations to accelerate growth through organic expansion, international partnerships, adjacent market entry, and portfolio development.

This role has broad executive engagement across DoD service branches, direct customers, and will also interface with Honeywell Aerospace executive management.

This role has a Hybrid work arrangement (at least three days per week in office) and can be based at one of the following locations: San Diego, CA; San Jose, CA; Lansdale, PA; Phoenix, AZ; Clearwater, FL; Minneapolis, MN; Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Growth Strategy:
• Develop and execute EDS's global growth strategy supporting defense, adjacent commercial industries, and international expansion.
• Identify, qualify, and capture new opportunities within Electronic Warfare, Radar, RF Systems, Mission Computing, Software, Space, and emerging technology markets.
• Expand Honeywell EDS presence into international defense markets through internal Honeywell Aerospace strategic partnerships
• Drive commercial market expansion by identifying dual-use technologies and adjacent commercial applications.
• Lead market assessments to identify emerging technologies, customer needs, competitive positioning, and investment priorities.
• Develop market entry strategies for new countries, commercial sectors, and strategic growth platforms.
• Partner with Offering Management to define the long-term EDS growth portfolio and investment roadmap.
• Build multi-year growth pipelines that support Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-range strategic objectives.
• Validate and execute the 3-year and 5-year Strategic Plan (STRAP).

Strategic Capture & Business Development:
• Lead enterprise capture strategy for major domestic and international pursuits.
• Develop customer-specific value propositions that differentiate Honeywell EDS technologies.
• Partner with Product Management to shape next-generation aligned with market demand.
• Lead cross-functional pursuit teams from opportunity identification through contract award.
• Increase pipeline conversion, win rates, bookings, and profitable revenue growth.

International & Commercial Expansion
• Develop strategic relationships with foreign governments, international OEM's, adjacent commercial customers, and global partners.
• Identify exportable technologies and support international licensing and compliance strategies.
• Partner with Honeywell Aerospace international and commercial business teams to leverage existing global customer relationships and accelerate market penetration.
• Expand participation in international trade shows and strategic industry events.

Customer & Executive Engagement:
• Build executive-level relationships across DoD, allied governments, prime contractors, and strategic commercial customers.
• Represent Honeywell EDS at executive customer meetings, industry forums, and strategic planning sessions.
• Improve customer loyalty, Voice of Customer (VOC) metrics, and long-term strategic partnerships.

Leadership & Organizational Development:
• Lead and develop a high-performing Growth organization focused on business development, capture excellence, strategic planning, and market development.
• Build organizational capability supporting international growth, commercial expansion, and advanced technology markets.
• Develop talent and succession plans supporting long-term organizational growth.

Qualifications

SECURITY CLEARANCE
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM.) Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible for clearance processing for this role. All applications are reviewed in compliance with national security requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
• 12+ years of leadership experience in strategy, business development, product management, engineering or growth leadership.
• 7+ years of leading cross-functional global teams.
• Experience developing and executing enterprise growth strategies
• Experience supporting both U.S. Government and commercial customers.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is $178,000- 222,000. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is $204,000- 256,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
