About the team:

Our Strategic Digital Markets sales team is dedicated to partnering with organizations within the Digital Markets framework to address and solve complex risk problems. The Digital markets framework includes (but not limited to) companies in the following segemetns; Technology, Payments, Retail/Ecommerce, Fintech, Buy Now Pay Later, Crypto, Prepaid Debit and Merchant Processing. The team sells a variety of solutions including fraud, identity, credit risk, AML and more.

About the job:

The Senior Director of Sales role exists to ensure consistent growth in sales revenue through positive planning, coaching, and management of Strategic Sales employees on their team, as well as customers and prospects.  The position is responsible for developing short term and long-term strategies to enable the execution of the sales team’s goals, reporting to the Vice President of Digital Markets sales. 

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Developing, maintaining, and communicating, in partnership with your team, strategic sales plans that will support success internally and externally.
  • Managing sales funnel and pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue, and providing scheduled updates to sales leadership on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Establishing and maintaining ongoing strategic customer relationships which will support short and long-term success.
  • Collaborating internally with key partners such as market planning, product, marketing and operations to support customer and sales team needs, while leading escalation requests when appropriate.
  • Developing and communicating key strategies and account plans to sales leadership on a regular and timely basis.  Maintaining an understanding of Business Services Strategic Sales established and evolving markets so that effective sales strategies can be developed that keep pace with the changing needs of the marketplace and your areas business strategy.
  • Carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing Sales Management, etc. or equivalent experience preferred.   
  • Extensive experience working in one or more of the Digital Markets segments preferred. 
  • 7+ years of experience in sales management. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Thorough knowledge of all facets of sales and marketing of company's products. 
  • Expertise in a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures. 
  • Proven ability to penetrate new accounts. 
  • Experience in face-to-face consultative selling and needs identification at multiple levels of an organization. 
  • Experience in formulating and implementing winning strategic sales and marketing plans.
