Full Job Description
Specific Responsibilities Would Include

The Senior Director of Sales will drive strategic initiatives to maximize revenue and margins for the Beauty division. This role requires building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, ensuring alignment with our brand identity. This role will be reponsible for managing and leading the Walmart business.

Strategy & Innovation

  • Ownership of strategy and account leadership for Walmart business
  • Strategically cultivate opportunities to expand business with existingdepartments; strategize means to penetrate new categories; oversee development and maintainbusiness relationships with buyers and leadership.
  • Guide research and competitive analysis; interpret relevant trends and communicate with internalpartners, where appropriate
  • Oversee development of line plan in context of larger assortment and coststructure; review and approve seasonal business proposalsr, withsuggested assortments based on marketplace and customer base
  • Collaboratively devise and articulate brand positioning and key strategic initiatives for brandwhere appropriate; strategize optimal placement in store, including, where applicable, in-store fixtures.

Operations & Results

  • Lead regular review of shipments and orders, sales and stock levels, merchandising andmarkdowns
  • Guide strategies and approve recommendations to maximize sales and minimize markdowns
  • Travel frequently to customer locations to meet with leadership and make buyer presentations; attend trade shows as necessary
  • Manage planning and replenishment business

Customers & Relationships

  • Manage the cultivation, development and maintenance of relationships
  • Oversee communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design and Production
  • Partner with planning and customers to oversee co-op, allowances and markdowns

Leadership & Teams

  • Contribute positively to team dynamic and manage up where necessary
  • Train and coach junior team members in selling, negotiating and presentation skills
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of individuals and team
  • Attract, develop, and retain talent
Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have
  • Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and out going
  • 10+ years9 experience in wholesale sales, Walmart experience required
  • Experience in Beauty, Personal Care & Accessories strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, highly detail oriented and meticulous
  • Strong analytical skills and fluent in retail math
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP a plus

Salary Range: $175,000-200,000

Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
