Full Job Description
As our Global Career Band 3 (GCB 3), Director, Sales Team Lead, Healthcare within Global Payments Solutions (GPS) you'll oversee HSBC's GPS Sales coverage for the Healthcare sector. The role is accountable for shaping and delivering your team's revenue ambitions through an effective calling plan and disciplined execution. You'll coordinate closely with Global Relationship Bankers to provide joined-up coverage for internationally focused customers. You'll strengthen corridor connectivity to unlock cross-border opportunities and ensure referrals convert into outcomes. Success means a well-run pipeline, strong collaboration across product and delivery teams and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs.

What you'll be doing:
  • Shape and deliver the Healthcare GPS sales plan including an effective calling strategy to meet revenue ambitions
  • Coordinate coverage with Global Relationship Bankers to provide consistent client engagement across the bank
  • Strengthen corridor connectivity to progress cross-border opportunities and improve international referral outcomes
  • Research external markets and competitors to identify differentiation and value aligned to HSBC strategy
  • Promote sustainable solutions that match customer needs across GPS products and services
  • Deepen customer insight by gathering information from multiple sources to shape HSBC's approach
  • Manage large and complex sales across multiple products and services from pipeline to close within agreed timescales
  • Partner with virtual teams across Product, Implementation, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Pricing to deliver coordinated client outcomes and governance

What we're looking for:
  • Bring Global Payments Solutions (cash management) experience and strong knowledge of relevant products and services
  • Apply corporate sales and relationship management experience to identify needs and build solutions across a broad product set
  • Use corporate payment card knowledge to support discussions and solution design where relevant
  • Interpret economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory factors affecting customers in local and international financial services
  • Evaluate customer requirements and translate them into commercially viable and sustainable solutions
  • Use influencing and objection-handling skills to progress deals towards closure while protecting long-term relationships
  • Communicate complex information clearly to varied audiences in both written and verbal formats
  • Identify risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate and manage them in partnership with stakeholders
