Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr Director Martech Innovation is responsible for evolving and operating Newrez's marketing technology ecosystem to enable scalable, automated, and highly personalized customer experiences. This role owns the execution of the Martech roadmap, platform integration, and governance processes, and leads innovation initiatives leveraging AI-driven tools, automation, and advanced data capabilities.

The Sr Director partners closely with Marketing, Product, Technology, Data, and Sales teams to ensure the Martech stack accelerates acquisition, retention, and lifecycle marketing performance, while maintaining reliability, compliance, and scalability across platforms.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
  • Martech Strategy & Roadmap
  • Execute and evolve the enterprise Martech roadmap to support scalable, automated, and personalized marketing campaigns.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging Martech capabilities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Martech platforms, CRM systems, data platforms, and AI-enabled tools.
  • Support vendor evaluation, platform governance, and contract management in partnership with leadership.
  • Platform Management & Innovation
  • Lead the development and optimization of automated, scalable marketing workflows across channels.
  • Design and operationalize personalization frameworks leveraging analytics, segmentation, and data science.
  • Enable efficient lead routing, nurturing, and customer engagement across the full funnel.
  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to ensure infrastructure reliability, data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Drive experimentation with new channels, AI capabilities, predictive journeys, and intelligent targeting.
  • Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of Martech product owners, technical marketers, and platform specialists.
  • Oversee training, enablement, and change management to drive Martech adoption across Marketing and Sales.
  • Set clear performance goals, manage budgets, and support professional development.
  • Present platform performance, optimization opportunities, and technology recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to align Martech capabilities with business and growth objectives.
  • Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing operations, or Martech.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams or complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven experience implementing and scaling sophisticated Martech stacks in a regulated or enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems, CDPs, marketing automation platforms (e.g., SFMC), and AI-enabled tools.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Working on-site at assigned office location.
  • Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.
  • Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.
  • Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.
  • Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.
  • Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.
  • Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures
