Position Summary:

The Senior Director, Marketing & Launch Lead, Pegtibatinase is responsible for developing and executing the U.S. commercial strategy and leading launch preparation for pegtibatinase in classical homocystinuria (HCU).

This role will serve as the U.S. Product Strategy Lead for PegT, lead the PegT marketing organization, and provide integrated commercial leadership across the extended launch team. The individual will be accountable for translating market, customer, and patient insights into a differentiated product strategy, go-to-market model, and coordinated launch plan that supports successful commercialization.

The role will directly lead HCP, patient/caregiver, and patient services marketing and will partner closely with Patient Access, Commercial Insights & Operations, Sales, Digital Strategy & Innovation, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy, Regulatory, and other functions to ensure commercial launch readiness.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the U.S. marketing strategy and execution for pegtibatinase across HCP, patient/caregiver, and patient services channels.
  • Develop product positioning, patient and physician segmentation, messaging, and market development strategies.
  • Build, lead, and develop the PegT U.S. marketing team and associated agency partnerships.
  • Lead the integrated U.S. commercial launch plan, coordinating readiness across partners in Patient Access, Sales, Commercial Insights & Operations, Medical Affairs, Patient Advocacy and Digital Strategy.
  • Chair the commercial launch team, establishing priorities, milestones, decision points, dependencies, and launch-readiness measures.
  • Partner with Patient Access and Sales leadership to integrate access, patient support, distribution, field deployment, training, and customer engagement strategies.
  • Develop relationships with thought leaders, patients, caregivers, and the HCU community to inform marketing and launch strategy.
  • Establish launch KPIs, budgets, resource plans, and operating metrics, proactively identifying and addressing execution risks.
  • Represent U.S. Marketing within the PegT cross-functional strategy team, ensuring U.S. commercial insights and priorities inform the broader program strategy.


Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
  • 12+ years of relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical commercial experience with demonstrated progression in responsibility.
  • Significant U.S. marketing and product strategy experience in specialty or rare disease; rare metabolic disease experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing and launching products in the U.S.
  • Experience leading marketing teams and cross-functional launch teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical commercialization process, including Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, Sales, Commercial Insights, and launch operations.

Target Base Pay Range:
$219,000.00 - $285,000.00
